For those who may have wondered what had become of me this past week worry no longer I was visiting family in Qualicum Beach BC. I did not mention the trip earlier on the blog because we wanted to suprise the great-grandparents, and what a suprise! We arrived on the island last wednesday and I was delighted by how well Natalie was on the flight. She slept most of the way and was only slightly fussy as the plane started to descend but she figured out that sucking on her pacifier made the discomfort go away. We met Aunt Dianne and Uncle Lloyd (not to be confused with Grandpa Lloyd) at the airport and were wisked away to the lovely shores of Qualicum. We waitied for the great grandparents to arrive and I wish I had a picture of the look on Grandmas face as she saw my mom, Natalie and I walk into the living room.
Now we are home and waiting for Chris to get back from work, Natalie is having a nap and I am taking a moment to relax in one of these all too rare solitary moments.

Natalie getting so big and cute, I loved the earlier photo of her on Chris's shoulders, Her eyes were so big
hey heather, good to get updated on neddie's and your ongoings. neddie looks cute and as we germans would say "propper", which means as much as ... oh wait another thing that has no translation... anyway it refers to a delightful roly-poly, little lump of sweetness baby. always looking forward for more cutie-pie pics of your little girl and of course of you (I can only agree with the person that stated earlier that motherhood seems to suit you so well, you look really great!).
big hugs for you 3 derkowskis in C-town.
